... or where? ... as we initially wondered when we spotted this one on the Gig List! Some of us thought that Langford Budville must be the name of a legendary Victorian actor, renowned for his roles as a classic villain, prowling around the stage twirling his moustache and being roundly hissed by the audience. Others feared that the village was so remote and hitherto unvisited by the Sunset Cafe Stompers that it may not appear even on Google Maps! It eventually transpired that it was indeed on the map, was accessible by road (although a rather narrow one!) and was the proud possessor of one of the finest village halls we had ever played in. Best of all, it was all in aid of a very worthy
